More flights and bigger aircraft for Korean Air’s summer service

Korean Air is getting ready to welcome more passengers onboard for the summer season with bigger aircraft and more flights.

The airline is updating its Boeing 747-400 air service for the summer. It will be using a 365-seater on its Seoul Gimpo-Jeju route from June 1 through September 14, and a 404-seater aircraft on its routes to Seoul Gimpo-Jeju, Seoul Gimpo-Shanghai, Seoul Incheon-Bangkok, Seoul Incheon-Beijing, and Seoul Incheon-Shanghai Pu Dong.

Derudover planlægger flyselskabet at øge sin Seoul Incheon-Barcelona service fra 3 til 4 ugentlige flyvninger ombord på et 787-9 fly, samt en daglig flyvning på den Seoul Incheon-Vancouver rute.

Et større fly vil blive brugt i løbet af sommeren til dets Seoul Incheon-Madrid og Seoul Incheon-Toronto ruter, der skifter fra en 787-9 til en 789.
